• August 16, 2008: User:CBM creates a list of frequently viewed economics articles
• mid-August: Wikipedia:WikiProject Economics/Assessment gets up and running
• August 4, 2008: WikiProject Business and Economics is renamed WikiProject Business.

May 2008

• May 14, 2008: Voting closes. Adam Smith selected as first Featured Article drive collaboration.
• May 10, 2008: Voting begins on Wikipedia:WikiProject Economics/Featured Article drive.
